AS31-2505122     Verfügbar

The work of a works council member does not only require professional handling of legal texts. It also requires good presentation and rhetorical skills, e.g. when attending works meetings, giving short presentations or negotiating and discussing with the employer.

In addition to content and structure, speaking style, body language, and attitude are crucial to the impact of a speech. This training course teaches the basics of successful rhetoric in a practical way – from overcoming stage fright and speaking inhibitions, the optimal structure of a speech, the appropriate posture, and the correct use of your voice, to dealing confidently with possible interruptions.

The training course at a glance:

  • As a works council member, how do I create and deliver speeches and contributions that are convincing and understandable?
  • How can I deal productively with speech anxiety in negotiations or meetings?
  • What can help me prepare for and deliver a speech?
  • How do I use both language and body language to achieve my goals?
  • How do I deal with disruptions, and what do I do when things go wrong?
